The Stuart Cameron McLeod Society (SCMS) is one of the premier professional groups in the financial field. Formed in 1934 as the Spot Club, the group was renamed in 1957 in honor of Stuart Cameron McLeod, a Spot Club Founder and IMA Executive Secretary from 1919 until his death in 1944. SCMS also stands for the "Society for Continuing Membership Service."
Applicants for membership in SCMS must meet specific criteria to be inducted into the organization. Members pay separate dues to SCMS, which IMA administers on behalf of the Society.
