How to register: Inside Talk monthly webinars are delivered entirely via the web using standard web browser technology and Audio Broadcasting. This means you will view the webinar using the standard web browser installed on your computer and the audio portion of the webinar will be delivered through your computer's speakers or headphones. If you experience difficulties with this feature, you may call in and listen to the audio via telephone.
Inside Talk monthly webinars are free, you may register online immediately. Select the session title you are interested in attending on the calendar of events and complete the registration form using the promotional code IMAWEB. To ensure you receive your Certificate of Completion & log in instructions, please complete the required information. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an e-mail that confirms your enrollment and includes the information you will need to join the event.
Webinars are held from 1pm – 2pm EST unless otherwise stated, which will allow you to earn 1CPE credit. Registration closes at 10:00a.m. EST on the day of the scheduled webinar or if maximum capacity is met. Due to the popularity of our free Inside Talk monthly webinars, seats fill up very quickly. Webinar seating is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. Once maximum capacity is met all new registrations will be placed on a pending list and will be accepted in the order received provided space becomes available. New webinar dates are posted monthly, so please check back often and don’t delay in registering.
To earn NASBA and CMA-approved CPE credit you must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Register for the live event and include your IMA member number on the registration form
- Attend the live event on the scheduled date
- Participate completely in the live webinar by logging in on time, responding to all of the polling questions, and completing the event’s evaluation form
- If you meet the event requirements, a CPE Certificate will be emailed to you within 5-7 business days
- Record the credit earned from the webinar into your IMA Member CE History within 30 days of receiving your Certificate of Completion.

Inside Talk Webinar Cancellation & Complaint Policy: Inside Talk monthly webinars are free and refunds are not applicable. However, due to the popularity and given the limited capacity, cancellations are requested. By cancelling your registration you will allow fellow members on the pending list to participate in the live event. Cancellation requests may be e-mailed to imawebinar@imanet.org.
IMA reserves the right to cancel a scheduled webinar if conditions warrant or if the minimum registration numbers are not met. In the event of such a cancellation, registered participants will receive notification via e-mail.

The SEC has extended the deadline to June 15, 2010 for the smallest public companies to provide the auditor assessments of internal controls over financial reporting that are required by SOX. This webinar will address what small businesses should do to ensure their methods are in line with the regulations. The presentation will address an emerging trend and career prospect for accountants, in that a cottage industry has emerged for CPAs to offer 404 assistance services as third parties, because companies’ auditors are prohibited from helping their audit clients in the 404 work, since that work is a non-audit service.
