These scholarship and award opportunities, and additional opportunities described below, are available exclusively to IMA Student members.
IMA Student Case Competition
Teams of students respond to a case (published in Strategic Finance) by preparing and submitting a videotaped presentation to judges selected from IMA members. This very exciting competition presents students with real-life challenges and the opportunity to:
- analyze a case
- develop a solution
- present it to an audience
- receive recognition for their efforts
The case study is published each year in the August issue of Strategic Finance.
Student Manuscript Award
This program provides any Student member with an opportunity to share his/her IMA student membership experiences. Winners are recognized each year at the IMA Annual Conference & Exposition. Submissions must be postmarked by March 15 for credit in current year's competition.
Clark Johnson Achievement Award
This award is presented each year at IMA's Annual Conference & Exposition to an active IMA student chapter that demonstrates innovative achievement in meeting the needs of IMA Professional and Student members.
Student Leadership Conference
IMA's Student Leadership Conference offers three days of learning and career networking opportunities for college students and educators. Accounting, finance, and business students will learn from veteran practitioners about the critical role of accountants and financial professionals within business.
