IMA’s 9th Annual Student Leadership Conference in Jacksonville, Florida was a resounding success. With over 300 registrants from 28 states representing 55 colleges/universities, the Conference provided participants with an opportunity to network with students, faculty, and professionals from across the country, learn new insights into the world of management accounting, and better understand the value of IMA® membership and CMA® certification.

We would like to extend a thank you to our premier sponsor, Johnson & Johnson, as well as Participating Sponsors, Caterpillar Inc., Cummins Inc., and O-I. We also wish to recognize the IMA Jacksonville chapter for coordinating the tours of the Sally Corporation and for their assistance at the Conference. We greatly appreciate their strong support of this year’s Student Leadership Conference.

We also wish to thank our exhibitors who generously supported the program and provided attendees with important information about their respective organizations. Thank you also to our Gems contributors. Their generosity ensures the financial viability of the Conference and IMA’s scholarship program.

We are especially grateful to our presenters for sharing their time and knowledge with the attendees. If you missed a presentation or would like to refresh your memory about one you attended, the presentations (in pdf format) are available below.

Mark your calendars for next year’s event the 10th Annual Student Leadership Conference, which will be held November 5-7, 2009, in St. Louis, Missouri. Hotel information will be provided shortly so check back for details!
