Managerial Costing Conceptual Framework
The IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) Managerial Costing Conceptual Framework (MCCF) Task Force welcomes comments from management accounting professionals, academics and professional associations regarding its new exposure draft, “The Conceptual Framework for Managerial Costing.”
The Comment period has closed. A final version of the Framework will be published when the review of the comments is complete. Thank you for your submissions.

IMA’s Research Foundation provides grants for research on critical issues. The Research Foundation has funded more than 250 studies on best practices, enterprise improvement, ethics, and other topics—study findings are made available via IMA publications and resources.

The Research & Information Manager of the McLeod Information Center can help members obtain copies of articles from IMA publications and outside periodicals, conduct Internet research, and compile targeted bibliographies.

IMA Online News is our e-newsletter for IMA’s general membership. Published weekly, IMA Online News features interactive sections that communicate the latest news, events, and developments from IMA and the profession.
Strategic TechNotes is an award-winning, specialized newsletter that highlights new technological developments, tools, and issues of interest to IMA members. TechNotes is published twice per month, announced via e-mail notification so readers won’t miss a single edition.
Campus Connection is published twice each semester, exclusively for IMA Student and Educator members. Each issue features original content on IMA news specifically relevant to Students and Educators, including information about scholarships, awards and competitions, learning resources, and more.
CMA Connection is a quarterly electronic newsletter designed just for IMA’s CMA members and candidates. CMA Connection is design to create a sense of community for CMAs and, to provide support for those preparing to take the exam.
Career Connection is published quarterly for IMA’s Young Professional members and those just entering the field. This e-newsletter includes syndicated content on issues such as work/life balance, financial leadership, managing your career, job outlook indicators, as well as important IMA news.
Research Connection is published yearly, detailing the various ways IMA has delivered on its research mission during the past year. This includes research projects conducted by IMA staff, research funded by IMA's Foundation for Applied Research (FAR), Statements of Management Accounting issued by IMA, and the operations of the McLeod Information Center.
